For fans
Finding a show
- Events. The home page lists upcoming events first, soonest first, and then past events
grouped by year.
- The live map. The map shows artists and venues where they are. An artist's pin changes as
they go live, take an intermission or finish, and shows the song they are playing. Filter by
artist type, genre or your favourites, or show only artists who are live now, and search by
name. Each artist also has a map of their own events, past, today and upcoming.
- Artist pages. Each artist has a page with their events, songs and links, and a short link of
the form
/directory/<artist-name> that opens their current show.
Watching
Open an event to watch it live, from the room or from home.
- Every angle at once. A performance can be broadcast from several devices. You see all of
them, and you can tap any angle to make it the large one.
- Follow the band's view. Set Follow angles selected by to Anyone, and your large view
switches whenever a performer points the room at a different angle. Leave it on Nobody, the
default, to choose for yourself.
- One sound. You always hear the one device the performers chose as the audio source, and the
screen says which one it is.
Requesting and tipping
- Requests. Pick a song from the artist's catalog and add a dedication if you like. Requesting
the same song again replaces your earlier request. When the artist plays it, your request is
marked Played.
- Tips. The artist's tip links (PayPal, Venmo and others) are one tap away.
- Chat. Each event has a chat for everyone watching.
Designed, not yet available: voting on the song playing
While a song is playing, each fan can give it a thumbs up or down. A vote counts only for the song
that is playing at that moment, and only until it ends. Each fan has one vote per song, a new vote
replaces the old one, and pressing the same thumb again withdraws it.
Ordering at a venue
At a venue that uses Interactive Artists, you can order from its menu and call for service from your
phone. See Venues.
